One of the most-stunning automobiles of all time, the Edsel Ford-conceived Continental arrived via the Zephyr line in 1940 and the sensational reception from the public encouraged Ford to break it out from the Zephyr line and give the car it's own badges in 1941.
Model year production nearly tripled in 1941 to a total of 1250, of which 850 were the Club Coupe model that we are so honored to present to you here.
Recently awoken from several years in storage, this rare V12 Continental has received a tune up and service to the fuel system, and once again purrs like a kitten and runs out nice down the road.
Not much of the history is known, other than it came to WI from MO nearly 20 years ago to join a nice collection.
The recipient of a poor paint job at one point in her life has really started to show, but a very nice interior (save for one flaw on the driver's seat) balances that out.
From 20 feet she looks marvelous, but I can relate.
This is a great opportunity to own a rare and iconic car that can be driven and enjoyed right away, while you decide to restore or simply continue to enjoy as she is now.
Reasonable offers encouraged, shipping/financing available, and we sell worldwide.
